Mrs Bold Terms and Conditions
- Participants must complete the official registration form accurately and truthfully.
- A non-refundable registration fee of R600 is required upon entry into the competition.
- Participants must be female residents of South Africa, aged between 21 to 55 years old.
- Participants may be married, divorced, widowed, or single with children.
- All applicants and finalists acknowledge that participation in the Mrs Bold Pageant is entirely voluntary and is done at their own discretion. Under no circumstances are participants forced, coerced, or otherwise obligated to enter or continue in the pageant. By submitting an application and participating in the pageant, each individual confirms they are doing so of their own free will.
- Participants commit to attending all required workshops, rehearsals, and events scheduled by Mrs. Bold.
- All fees, including registration fees and any other payments made to Mrs. Bold, are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Contestants are required to engage in fundraising activities as part of the competition.
- Mrs. Bold operates on a sponsorship model, generating income through sponsorships, fundraising activities, and events to cover program costs and operational expenses.
- By entering the competition, participants grant Mrs. Bold the right to use their name, likeness, photographs, and videos for promotional purposes on social media, websites, print, or any other media.
- Participants understand that the judging process includes submission of photos, community engagement activities, video challenges, and compliance with sponsor promotion guidelines.
- Finalists are required to travel to Gauteng for the Finals in October.
- Failure to attend the Finals will result in forfeiture of the finalist title. In such cases, finalists must return the finalist sash within 7 days.
- Finalists must maintain a reputation free from activities that may compromise or embarrass Mrs. Bold, including criminal behavior, public nudity, or activities that contravene the values of the pageant. Mrs. Bold reserves the right to revoke the finalist title immediately upon discovery of such activities.
- All decisions made by Mrs. Bold, including contestant selection, judging outcomes, and administrative determinations, are final and binding. Mrs. Bold does not entertain disputes or engage in discussions regarding decisions made by the organization or its appointed judges.
- All materials, documents, and submissions provided by contestants become the property of Mrs. Bold, relinquishing any claims to ownership or rights therein.
- Prizes awarded to winners are provided out of goodwill and recognition, not as mandatory requirements of the pageant.
- Mrs. Bold reserves the right to modify prizes offered based on various factors.
- Winners are expected to fulfill duties and responsibilities outlined by Mrs. Bold, including acting as ambassadors for the brand and participating in relevant events.
- Contestants and winners are expected to uphold values of integrity, professionalism, and excellence throughout their participation and beyond.
- The organizing committee of Mrs. Bold reserves the right to interpret and enforce these rules at its sole discretion, with any disputes resolved impartially.
- The winner of Mrs Bold agrees to sign a contract with the organization, outlining her responsibilities and duties as the title holder. This contract will detail expectations regarding public appearances, media engagements, and participation in charitable or promotional activities as agreed upon by both parties.
